• Penguins Huddle

Children at this station first watch a short video clip that shows penguins on a vast ice field. In the video, children see little penguins huddling together for warmth. Moreover, penguins form a circle, and every few seconds, the penguins in the inner circle swing out and let the freezing penguins on the outside walk in for warmth.

Then, under the guidance of the staff, children will use penguin models to simulate how real penguins stand to form the circle shape, and point out the areas of high temperature and low temperature in the penguin flock by marking the warm ones with a red ring, and the cold ones with a blue ring.
